About Us

Written By: Bluegumhills Admin

We are a group of men from the Wallsend area which is in the city of Newcastle in NSW Australia. Our volunteer members provide their time, skills and experience to support the local community.

Our main focus is community and charitable activities for the local region, but one of the driving concepts behind Men’s sheds is to alleviate isolation and provide men with opportunities for regular social contact, ensuring a more cohesive and inclusive society. We support men of all ages, and endeavour to teach each other new skills in the men’s shed.

Our Current Executive Committee is as follows:

President: John Devlin

Vice President: Graeme Berry

Treasurer: Phillip Murnain

Secretary: Roy Powell

Members Rep: Anthony McDermott

Members Rep: Stephen Devon

Members Rep: Ken Blanch
